Vintage analog monosynths

A monosynth plays one note at a time, and it's behind most of the classic bass and lead lines you know. Moog's Minimoog set the template in 1970. Some synths here stretch the rule. A duophonic synth can play two pitches at once, like Oberheim's Two Voice, which pairs two complete SEM modules under one keyboard. A paraphonic synth plays several notes through one shared filter and amplifier, so every note in a chord swells and fades together. Korg's Mono/Poly works that way with its four oscillators. Moog's Taurus I bass pedals, built from 1975 to 1981, belong here too. They're a monophonic synth you play with your feet on 13 pedals. The 1981 Taurus II redesign and the 2010 Taurus III are different instruments, so check which one a listing really is.
